Tamilnadu Budget 2020: "This government follows the steps of Central Government", MK Stalin's comment on TN's annual budget

Today, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister O. Pannirselvam presented the Budget for the financial year 2020 - 2021 of the Government of Tamil Nadu. MK Stalin, Leader of Opposition of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, has expressed his views on the budget.

Stalin met with reporters outside the assembly hall and said, “OPS has read the financial report for 196 minutes. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman read the Union budget for 159 minutes. This is an example of how the AIADMK government is following the central government."

He also said, "This is said to be the 10th budget for OPS, But really, this is the worst budget for anyone." The budget is said to have a debt of Rs 4 lakh crore.

He also said that this government is steeped in debt, fraud, bribery, and corruption. This financial statement contains no growth plans and no vision.
